Based on quantum physical phenomena, it promises <g id=\"gid_1\">more efficient computing processes, new possibilities in data processing<\/g> and even <g id=\"gid_2\">approaches to previously unsolvable problems<\/g>. Whether in industry, materials research or medicine, quantum computing opens <strong>up new perspectives<\/strong> wherever huge amounts of data need to be processed and high-dimensional problems need to be solved &#8211; in short, wherever conventional computers reach their limits.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RISC Software GmbH<\/strong> sees itself as a pioneer at the interface between <strong>research and application<\/strong>. As a non-university research institution, we identify technological trends at an early stage and actively drive their implementation. Our <g id=\"gid_2\">many years of expertise<\/g> in the fields of software development, mathematical modeling and, in particular, artificial intelligence make us a strong player in the future field of quantum computing and its practical application. Our goal is to open up fields of application today and <strong>make<\/strong> this technology <strong>usable<\/strong> so that we can <strong>implement<\/strong> concrete <strong>solutions<\/strong> tomorrow.   <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"wp-block-group-container alignfull \">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Quantum machine learning &#8211; quantum-based intelligence<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There is great potential for the application of quantum computing, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence: <strong>Quantum Machine Learning (QML)<\/strong> uses quantum mechanical effects to extend classic learning algorithms or to enable completely new learning paradigms. While classic AI models already provide valuable insights from complex data sets, QML is expected to offer the following advantages, among others: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. more efficient pattern recognition<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. better generalization skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. robust learning even with limited amounts of data<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Especially in <strong>medicine<\/strong>, where diagnoses are increasingly supported by data and data sources are becoming more diverse, more complex and more extensive, QML offers enormous potential. <strong>RISC Software GmbH<\/strong> is therefore specifically researching this interface &#8211; with the aim of making medical analysis systems smarter, faster and more robust. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"wp-block-group-container alignfull \">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Success stories from research<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In several research projects, <strong>RISC Software GmbH<\/strong> is specifically investigating the use of quantum machine learning in a medical context &#8211; from the analysis of ECG signals to the interpretation of X-ray images.
